SAM GOETZ <back to crew biographies

Sam Goetz was born and raised in Levittown, Pennsylvania. He now resides in Brooklyn, where he practices editing, cinematography and filmmaking of all sorts. Being Jonathan Yi’s closest creative collaborator in New York, Sam has directed and edited many award winning films in which Jonathan was the cinematographer and has worked with Jonathan on paid television commercial jobs that have aired in heavy rotation. Likewise, Sam also was the cinematographer for Jonathan Yi’s most recent film, “I’M SAMMY HAGAR.” Sam has edited two of Jonathan Yi’s award winning music videos and will also be the editor and production designer for “SHIFT.” He has been with this script since day one, and is honored and excited to be on board.
